What is Water Gas Oil Pressure Transformer?
A water gas oil pressure transformer is a transformer that uses a
combination of water, gas, and oil as the insulating medium to
transform electrical energy from one voltage level to another. This
type of transformer is typically used in harsh or hazardous
environments, where traditional oil-filled transformers may not be
suitable. The cooling properties of water and gas help to dissipate
heat generated during operation, while the insulating properties of
oil help to protect against electrical arcs and breakdowns.
How does Water Gas Oil Pressure Transformer work? What is its
principle?
The water gas oil pressure converter is a device that converts
high-pressure hydraulic fluids into high-pressure air or gas while
maintaining a constant output pressure.
The principle behind this converter is based on Pascal's law, which
states that pressure applied to a confined fluid will be
transmitted in all directions throughout the entire fluid. In this
case, the fluid is usually oil and it is confined to a closed
chamber, which is separated from the compressed air or gas chamber
by a piston or diaphragm.
When high-pressure oil is introduced into a sealed chamber, it
applies pressure to the piston or diaphragm, thereby compressing
the air or gas in another chamber. This compression increases the
pressure of air or gas, which can then be used for various
purposes, such as providing power for pneumatic tools or operating
machinery.
The working principle of a transformer is to maintain balance
between the input and output pressure chambers. The control valve
is used to regulate the oil flow rate entering the closed chamber,
thereby adjusting the amount of pressure applied to the piston or
diaphragm, and thereby adjusting the output pressure of the air or
chamber.
